This 75-inch 2022 4K smart TV from Samsung, in its entry-level Neo QLED series that combines Mini LED backlights with local dimming and quantum dots, delivers top-notch overall picture quality and very effective HDR performance, among the best we’ve seen. (Samsung TVs support the HDR10, HDR10+, and HLG HDR formats.) It also has a wider-than-average viewing angle, and very good sound. (It has a 2.2.2-channel speaker system with support for Dolby Atmos.This set has Samsung’s Tizen smart TV system, with Bixby, Google Assistant, and Amazon Alexa voice control assistants built in. The set supports AirPlay 2, but so far not Apple HomeKit. As part of a Tizen update, Samsung is switching from the bottom bar to a full-screen home screen. It also has an ATSC 3.0 tuner for receiving new NextGen over-the-air TV signals when they become available in your area. The TV comes with the company’s solar-powered remote control that can recharge using the basic indoor lights in your home.
