This 55-inch 4K OLED TV, in a series just below the flagship G2 models in LG's 2022 OLED lineup, delivers top-notch overall picture quality, with HDR performance that's just a notch below the very best sets we've tested. (LG sets support HDR10, Dolby Vision, and HLG HDR formats. It also has excellent sound quality. This year the C2-series sets get a new "evo" technology that offers better brightness than last year's C1 models.LG's updated webOS smart TV system has a new feature called Room-to-Room Share, which lets you stream cable, satellite, or over-the-air content to another compatible TV through WiFi, without the need for another set-top box. The TV has LG ThinQ, Amazon Alexa, and Google Assistant built in, along with support for Apple AirPlay 2 and HomeKit. It comes with a voice-enabled Magic Remote.

The LG C2 is an incredible TV for most uses. Its self-emissive technology is superb for watching movies or HDR content in a dark room. It's also brighter than most OLED panels, making it an excellent choice for watching TV shows or sports in a bright room, and the image remains accurate at a wide angle, so it's great for a wide seating arrangement. It has an impressive selection of gaming features, and its low input lag results in a fantastic gaming experience.

In the last few years LG's "C" series OLED models have risen to the top of my list as the best high-end TV for the money and C2 is the latest example. The C2 offers image quality that's a clear step above any non-OLED TV I've seen, a bigger range of sizes than ever -- including a new 42-inch option -- and a price that's not too steep.
